Uwaila Ebizugbe

Blooming Light transforms part of the Templeman Library into a hidden garden of interconnected study spaces and quiet retreats. Organised around a sequence of pathways and semi-enclosed pods, the project uses light, materiality, and spatial progression to create moments of discovery and reflection. Balancing openness with privacy, the design supports concentration, wellbeing, and informal interaction while encouraging users to engage with the space in new ways. The project explores how atmosphere and spatial sequencing can shape emotional and sensory experience within educational environments.
