Min Zhun Ong

This project explores how personal control over space can improve comfort, privacy, and focus within shared learning environments. Developed for the Templeman Library, the design allows users to adapt their immediate surroundings by adjusting panels that influence sightlines, lighting, and levels of enclosure. The proposal is situated within a speculative future environment inspired by space travel, transforming the library into an immersive setting aboard a spacecraft. Through interactive design and spatial storytelling, the project examines the relationship between personal agency and environmental experience.
